GROUP YOGA
in Person and Online

Group yoga classes provide an opportunity to connect and build relationships with like-minded individuals who share common interests.

Practicing together fosters a sense of community, support, and accountability, creating an encouraging environment.

Hatha

A not too fast, not too slow moderate paced class that will both strengthen and stretch your body, and balance your mind. The word "hatha" is derived from the Sanskrit terms "ha" (sun) and "tha" (moon), symbolizing the balance and union of opposing forces.

Vinyasa

Dynamic and fluid style that emphasizes the coordination of breath with movement. It is characterized by a flowing sequence of yoga poses, with smooth transitions between each posture. The word "vinyasa" translates to "to place in a special way" and refers to the intentional linking of movement and breath.

Gentle

A slow moving, grounding, and releasing class geared to stretch your body and soothe your mind.

Power

Power yoga is all about connecting to your true power, which according to yoga philosophy is a combination of both strength and softness. During this moderately flowing class, you can expect to hold postures longer than normal and complete your class with some deep releasing postures.

Yin

Slow-paced style that targets the connective tissues, such as ligaments, tendons, and fascia, in the body. It involves holding poses for an extended period, typically ranging from one to five minutes or even longer. Yin yoga focuses on passive stretching and relaxation.

Restorative

A soothing style of yoga that focuses on relaxation, rejuvenation, and deep rest. It involves holding comfortable poses for extended periods, typically ranging from 5 to 20 minutes or even longer. Restorative yoga aims to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which promotes a state of rest and relaxation, allowing the body and mind to recharge and heal.

Nidra

Yoga Nidra known as the "yogic sleep," is a guided technique that can be profoundly rejuvenating and refreshing. The term "Yoga Nidra" is derived from two Sanskrit words: "Yoga," meaning union or integration, and "Nidra," meaning sleep. It is not traditional sleep, but a state of consciousness between wakefulness and sleep.
